How to Jailbreak iOS 4.3/4.3.1 FINAL (Mac)

This video shows you how to jailbreak iOS 4.3 & 4.3.1 using PwnageTool 4.2. JAILBREAK & UNLOCK AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT LIABLE IF ANYTHING UNEXPECTED HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR DEVICE DUE TO THE JAILBREAK, YOU MUST RESTORE IN RECOVERY OR DFU MODE. If you get an error message during the restore process (EX: 1600, 1604, 1500, etc...) download a program called RecBoot. The link is in this video description. Then, launch it and choose click on the says "Exit Recovery Mode" while your device is still plugged in.

Terminal Commands:

sudo -s (Then input your password when Terminal prompts you)

Then:
/Users/INPUTUSERNAMEHERE/Desktop/tetheredboot/tetheredboot
/Users/INPUTUSERNAMEHERE/Desktop/tetheredboot/iBSS.k48ap.RELEASE.dfu
/Users/INPUTUSERNAMEHERE/Desktop/tetheredboot/kernelcache.release.k48

***Make sure that where it says "INPUTUSERNAMEHERE" you replace that with your username. This can be found by launching the Finder. On the sidebar, look for the icon that looks like a house. The name next to the house is your username. If you have your tetheredboot folder stored in a different location other than your Desktop, you will need to change that directory as well to the location where you have it.

@lizards821 I did everything right even when I get to the terminal and put in the info but it says directory not found.....i have the tehteredboot folder on my desktop just like u recommended.....could u help me out??? please respond ASAP

I just got an error that said "please install ramdisk fixer" while building the IPSW and I did and installed it. Same thing happened again...

Btw why can't we use simple mode?

@Hockeysktr17 Simple mode doesn't let you browse for the ipsw, it try's to look format itself, which can take a while. Make sure your tetheredboot folder is on your desktop, otherwise ramdisk fixer won't work.

@WowThisBandSuxx This is a tethered jailbreak. You have to boot your device in a tethered state using TetheredBoot via Terminal, which I show you how to do. You must do this every time you want to start up your device in order to access Cydia. I said that in the video. Maybe if you payed attention....

When building IPSW, right after it asks for my password, safari opens on this site: w w w .iphone-privacy.c o m/ ... and then Pwnagetool just closes... what am I doing wrong?
