Collateral Murder - Wikileaks - Iraq

Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on http://collateralmurder.com

@jacobeast1 I never realized that less than half of a total meant almost exclusively. I always thought almost exclusively meant nearly all, what ever you say, it's your fantasy. It was hoped to capture Cherbourg intact. It wasn't the deep water they were after, the artificial harbour was built at Omaha beach. And it wasn't sheer rock cliffs. WW1 was won by the British Empire, the US involvement was small and not a deciding factor. USSR won WW2 not US.

@1CEMAN009 Well sir in Iraq and Afganistan the enemy and innocents look the same the only thing we can use to distinguish is wether or not they have weapons these men had weapons and what appeared to be an RPG. The reason i dont feel any sympathy is because the Taliban had captured a Marine and sent a video to us basically cutting his head off while he was still alive. Look im going into the U.S. Army and im proud of it, yes these men killed a camramen believeing him to have an RPG and several individuals with AKs. But before this the terrorist would kill a child without hesistation they'll even strap bombs to their own people without care. So am i ashamed of this? No i just can't wait to pay these fuckers back for 9/11. P.S. This is my own personal opinion America allows for people to have opinions
