GB, You showed this 10 year old kid the beauty of a guitar solo, and you're licks still raise the hair on the neck, and chills down the back. God bless you and Thank you,Your Fan, D.

I used to hang out at Glen Buxton's NY apartment back in the early 80's. He was a badass for sure. We'd bring him beers. He'd snarl at us. I knew it was just a cover. Good to see he had himself a life there in the 90's in Iowa. RIP GB.

God Bless GB. Great to see the original AC members. Glen was an awsome guitarist, lost way too early. God Bless Mike, Dennis, Neal and Alice...

In this formation Alice Cooper made his best music. Billion Dollar Babies, Halo of Flies, Elected, School's out, and so on.

Glen's riffs are some of my favorites of all time. Awesome what you can find on youtube. Thanks for posting.

Fourteen years now that we miss Glen. Alice Cooper was such a great band !
I'm from Goldfield, Iowa, a scant 9 miles from Clarion, Iowa. I was born and raised on a farm outside Clarion. I met Glen while living in Goldfield, met him at the local convenience store. I had no idea who he was..never heard of him. We talked and bullshitted...had a great time! It was just a short time after our meet when I learned that he was the drummer for Alice Cooper! That a talent such as Glen make it to a place such as Clarion is mind-boggling to me! R.I.P., Glen! HELL of a nice guy!!

@mer3757 Glen was the lead guitarist, Neal Smith was the drummer.

thanx a million for posting this!!! i came upon it by surfing alices videos...great memorial for a great guitarist...saw alice back in the killer days and saw them every time they came around after...wasnt there a time when glen had to be replaced backstage by an alternate guitarist? i sort of remember him coming out onstage in a wheelchair....i dont think any band alice has had since can replace the original band...thanx again for this piece of history!

@FLASHBACKSOUNDMAN Yes, Billion Dollar Babies and Muscle of Love (Billion Dollar Babies Holiday Tour) had guitarist Mick Mashbir tour with the band. Mick is the one who wrote the guitar parts for No More Mr. Nice Guy, and many others on the Billion Dollar Babies album. Originally the band was going to have him dress up in a gorilla suit for the tour but he denied it because he wanted his face to be seen. He regrets it now though.
