Thanks to James Cohan gallery for this incredible Nam June exhibit.I was at the opening fluxus performance by Larry Miller, and his rendition of the violin for Nam June was superb. He slammed the violin to the pedestal so violently he actually shot back and fell to the ground. After a very slow beautiful and extended rising of it, just at the moment the audience started to lose focus,WHAM!!!!!

Sitting in the middle of the installation to view the performance, gave ample time to interface with the videos embedded into the sculptures of Nam June. It was impressive how cutting-edge/contemporary the video is still.. It was an awe-inspiring show for sure.

I agree with you entirely, it was a great show, and in many ways demonstrates the long shadow Nam June Paik has cast on the world. His influence will be felt for years and years to come. I actually believe he would have loved youtube - I'm sure his ghost is watching it!
