why hit with your sticks so hard? it slows you down and outbalances the feet

@slavetothestix2 Black has some very impressive knowledge of different rudiments that he applies to metal, along with an ambidextrous style, great stamina, great showmanship tricks for live entertainment, I don't see many drummers that play like he does. Sounds pretty creative to me. Haters gonna hate.

@dwdrummer84 I think their are alot of talented metal drummers out there. Just not as popular or mainstream.

anyone can be fast, but he is fast and clean

Wow, super inspiring.
(( Awesome in every way ))

I missed the 'creative' part...

I guess he never had hi-hat as a kid :)

@svante1991 It sure is. Any idea what snare it is?

I love how symmetrical his kit is!

@halodemo65 im not trying to be an argumentative dick, but alot of original metal could be played with one bass pedal and the idea for two bass drums came from jazz. Definetly the more extreme genre's of metal that have emerged today couldnt be played without a double bass pedal, but in its roots, metal was more like heavy rock.
He can play fast, but because it's so clean and in time is what I like about listening to and watching Randy. A+!!!!!

Metal drummers rarely impress me... this is an exception.
