That's right, no OC here. Whenever I try to OC while running UT3, my videocard throws a tantrum, and starts to hiccup, mis-render models, and generally give me a huge pain in the ass, sometimes going so far as to overheat and freeze. When running factory shipped frequencies, though, the game runs better than expected. Currently, it's only running at 640x480, but due to the recording process and conflicting data streams(LAWL PC games streaming data. Can't wait until they fix this one. :/), the framerate is only about, on average, 5 FPS worse at max resolution.
No anti-aliasing. No motion blur. All detail settings to max. Hardware physics off.

And yes, I left my name as Player. I had a buggy install at one point or another, and had to reset my UT3 settings files a few times before it decided it wanted to run.

  • could i paly smooth on 7025 nforce 630a

  • I assume that's an integrated 7000 series card?

No. You're going to need an actual GPU to get smooth performance. It may be playable on lowest settings on some maps, but not smooth.

  • original ut was the first fps game i played lol.

how would this game fair on a p4 and x800gt?

  • I dunno how the p4 would take to actually doing something, but it depends on what exactly an x800gt is. if it's a 7800, it should run okay. 8800 should be fine. 9800 should be good.

  • i have a GeForce with CUDA NVIDIA GT440 1014MB 3GB RAM that game runs in max settings with tranquility

  • ahh the X800GT is an old gpu from ati.

im soon gonna upgrade to an HD4650 but on can u run it website it says i pass all the min req and nearly all the reccomend o it should be ok.

  • I'm running the PCI-E card. I doubt you'd get the same performance from AGP. Doesn't that have even weaker data transfer rates than PCI?

I got mine from ncix, I think, but they don't stock it anymore.

  • Yo can you tell me the retailer you bought this from? I could use this video card because it's agp interface. Don't have pci-e =/

  • Very. Esp. since I get a better framerate since the last beta drivers came out.(185.20?)

Too bad they broked my control panels.

  • cool
