I have sarcoid. I am a 54 yr old italilan american female and have been on disability since 2006. I have damaged lungs (scarred) lungs and on 24hr oxygen. I have damage to my heart , pulmonary hyperstension, and yes also depression. I try to stay upbeat but it does suck!! Does anyone have as may health concerns as me???Peace!!

i cant sleep for that long. i spent about 2 weeks in the bad not to long ago and i thought that was it.. but my mother gave me some of her pain meds that help me move a lil bit. i even went to the store..i now just sit here in front of this PC and wonder if someday i might be able to work again.. i g back to the doctor next weel on the 14th of feb.. i hope the doctors give me some Pain killers for this..if there is no cure.they should atleast giveme that much and extra info will help. thanks all

My neck by my colar bone.. i was freeking out.. with the help of God and my familey i went through with it.. they got some sample outa my lungs and cliped a peice of one of my enlarged Lympnode.. still in the hospital 1 month later they said i had an connective tishu disorder called Sarcoidosis that had no cure.. and they are not sure what causes this in people.. right now im taking Combivent.. i been outa stairoids for over 3 months now.. im so tired and wana sleep all the time but this pain

So i went to the Doctor and payed my 100$ fee.. he said i had the flu.. i was like ok .. thats that..no.. 2 weeks later i went to the hospital emergency room.. after being seen and chest x-rays,blood work, and temp.. etc.. they thought i might have Lupas (not sure on spelling)i thought the world was going to end .. i broke down. so they put me in for futher testing.. about 1 half weeks from doing about 50 test it seem they dint know and said i should get a biospy by cutting a small slit under

I know taking all that is not good for my liver.. but they wont give me anything else.. i dont know what to tell them.. its like im a lab rat to them. i break down all the time.. i feel like i have failed my wife and kids..It all started in early june when i was helping some one move.. i was having bad chest pains and was sweating more than normal.. i had a feaver from 101 to 103 all the time i would wake up at night in a pool of sweat all the time.. lota nights like that. Im posting again cause i ran outa room.. anyway.. im in pain all the time and i cant sleep.. i might get 3 hours a day i go to bed in pain and wake up in pain.. im tring to get on SSI.. im not sure whats going to happen.. my family has been helping my my two kids wife and me since i can nolonger work.. i cant even drive.. i was the Bread winner in the house.. and now i need help to the bathroom. the doctors (last visit said for me to take Extra Strenght Pain relief i was taking 3 bottles a week.

I was Diagnosed With Sarcoid aswell in late June of last year. i was forced to stop working from my disorder in November. The team of doctors..(after almost 2 months in the hospital.. and a Biopsy) said i have Sarcoid of the lungs.. that is a connective auto amune disorder(my body attacks it self)I was self employed and was doing great.. and now i live in Pain and cant hardly walk.. im just 32 years old.. they gave me 40mg predizone and i felt great for a while..(sorry for the bad spelling)

I was just diagnosed with Sarcoid a couple of months ago and have been out of work for almost 5 months now. I know what being stuck on the couch is like, as they didn't know what I had for a long time. My doctor's said you relly only get one bout and then it goes dormant again, are they just lying to me. Would really be interested in what your experience has been as you posted this video just before I started to get sick. Hope you feeling better.

I have sarcoid too. I've been on morphine pain management for a little over 2 years, it gave me severe arthritis. I know how it is, it's Thursday and I've been sleeping since Monday. Wake up for a few minutes here and there. My rheumotologist put me on Colchicine which really helps that overwhelming fatigue. I keep hearing about people getting new immune systems from their own stem cells, for things like Lupus and Diabetes. I hope they can figure something out for us too. Good luck.
