Not sure about that, if it is made a FI or Turbo, the emissions deal can be corrected with better technology ( the last engine, renesis, came out in 04 ). My choice would be a Hydrogen 3 rotor engine. In Denmark, Mazda is already selling Hydrogen rotaries. The rotary engine is the best combustion engine when it comes to performance under hydrogen, better than piston engines. A hydrogen Mazda 3 rotor would open the door for all kinds of rotary engines .

Thats an electronic sliding rear door...Its open for you to notice it....Otherwise it would be flush with the door
