i dont know i have 35 TAYLORS 20 old ones 900 800 and down to 110 210 i never seen any problems only playing wear naturaly no cracking lines in them i had 2 gibsun 4 and 5 year old and all little hair line cracks in both em the tops really horrible the new taylors are different sounding than the old ones my 810 25 years old is a cannon

you bet ur boots filling dints with lacquer will sink in never be right you need base coat then gloss lacquer and polish to finish

I liked this little segment of footage just have a similar like dent damage on a 1974 ovation top near the back and this info should help with the retentive dent which would allow potential buyers red flag power !. The other tiny defect I have is a 1" lacquer line crack which is not a wood crack but crosses on an angle away from the grain near the fretboard probably due to cold temp stresses. Other than that the guitar is immaculate! GOOD JOB POSTING FOOTAGE
