I agree that much of what we see and hear in the media is a distraction from more important issues. But calling Palin a fascist is it's own distraction. Calling someone irrational names does not secure your liberty. Palin is no more a fascist than you are an intellect. If abortion is a "distraction" not worth debating, what issues are there, if any, that you feel warrant debate or concern?

@StevenOnTivo True, the "Big Government" grows at the expense of our liberty. But how does that make Palin a fascist? If anything, she is attacked for promoting smaller government. It would be appropriate that the bigger government left be called fascist. Palin is a redneck, but is no fascist.
