My forever Rose says, "I love you". This was taken 3 months before we HAD to let her go due to a brain tumor. May she rest in peace. She brought me unimaginable joy and I miss her as much today as the day crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet baby girl.

  • Thx. She was a pretty girl and just as sweet. I'll never stop missing her.

  • Thanks to all for your kind, understanding words.

  • I am sorry for the loss of your little Rose. She is such a sweetheart. My first two Dachshunds have passed away also and the female Gretchen shortly before she passed on was calling my wife Mom when she wanted her attention. I also miss them both very much. Henry

  • @dachs4me Thank you Henry. That's very sweet that Gretchen called your wife mom. Rosie could say mama, too. She would do just about anything for food or a treat.. There's nothing like a dachshund. Beginning when she was a puppy I took lots of photographs of her. When I finished the shot she was rewarded with a treat. From then on everytime I picked up the camera she positioned herself in front of me. She was one of a kind.

  • aww im sorry that must have been hard, i have a dog and shes so cute shes something i can go to and she calms me down

  • @5hotchick1 Thanks for your comment. Animals do have a way of making things better. Most of the time they sense when they are needed and come to you.

  • Such a sweetie. We're so sorry for your loss.

  • @tjciullo Thanks for your kind words. My goodness, you and Maggie practically grew up together. Losing her had to be tough.

  • :( goodness i know how hard it is to let go of your little baby! I recently had to say bye to my little girl, my cat Maggie. I got her for my 9th birthday and she lived til i was 22! 14 good years! She had a tumor in her nose that couldn't be helped :( It was the worst day of my life. I get scared i'll forget her. Like her smell and her meow and stuff. It's amazing how much you can love an animal isn't it? they become like your child. The best companians!
