Tyler caught up with Swervedriver singer Adam Franklin during their 2008 reunion tour. Like most of the UK artists Tyler has met, Franklin credits their singles-based culture for his music education. Raised on glam rock staples like T-Rex and Bowie, Franklin reflects on the magic of vinyl and the uplifting power of Hawkwind. Discovered by Creation Records Alan McGee, Swervedriver were part of the 90s shoegazing scene.
Today Adam Franklin also tours under his own name, releasing a solo CD entitled Bolts of Melody.
For as much as I would massively fancy a new record, I think Jimmy Hoffa's remains will be found before it happens.

@droflig Agreed...solo stuff is excellent, and getting better each album.....but a SWD record would be class..

I don't remember his accent being so pronouced when I met him, weird. Great guitar player and an all around nice guy, come back to Athens, GA sometime, I'm sure you'll get more than a half dozen people in the audience.
