I love Karamacode, find myslef listening to it more than their other albums these days And yeah Enjoy the Silence is a great track. Much better than the original...

And Shallow Life was a fail lol. I liked survive, not enough, wide awake, and the song shallow life. Everythihng else sucked

@TKDmidgit I have to say--I found Shallow Life unlistenable. Karmacode turned them into Lacuna Korn, which worked pretty well, but Shallow Life turned them into Linkin Coil. I hate that SHIT--& I don't use that term loosely... I agree that Enjoy the Silence isn't a good song to end on (No Fear would have been better), but I think it's an admirable cover. One of the few instances where the cover improves upon the original...

ha i didnt mean it as in a bad way.. i mean i just listened to the album soo soo much. But yeah it does seem like it would go well with an ending to karmacode.  didnt enjoy to ending of karmacode becaise most of their ending songs are very mellow and haunting (Comalies, Wave of Anguish, Falling Again, Shallow life.) Enjoy the silence was too poppy. I feel like unleashed memories was their best album, with comalies coming in second. I loved them all except probably shallow life

@TKDmidgit lol, "SHIT?!" it's the same type of music as this song--minus the bagpipes... Unleashed Memories is probably their most solid album for audiophiles looking for something a little different. Comalies and Karmacode are the best for people wanting something commercial, yet unique. This song would have made a good end to Karmacode, I think... Album's short enough and could have used another song...

I feel ya. I replayed the SHIT out of Unleashed memories. Still love it, but i still feel like this song goes beyond the other songs on that album (although cold heritage and Distant Sun come close).

But yeah what a shame..hopefully off the money they've made with radio friendly Karamacode and Shallow Life, they'll go back to their roots. I doubt it though :(

@bohottie even if it is their best song, it's not "easily" so. What about cold heritage and distant sun on Unleashed memories? What about Falling Again at the end of In a Reverie (that's my personal favorite), and what about Halflife? This song actually reminds me a lot "Heir of a Dying Day" (also from Unleashed Memories)...

@TKDmidgit they do, it's called unleashed memories (ok, 10 songs)--this song sounds like it belongs there. thing is, this isn't the kind of music you make money off of Korn- and Linkin Park kiddies with, so they stopped writing good music...
