Making fresh home-made pasta can be a fun family activity. As this video on how to make homemade pasta shows, first take a cup of flour and semolina in a bowl. Add some salt. Whisk these dry ingredients together. Add eggs, a little bit of water, and olive oil in another bowl. Whisk till the mixture is smooth. Add the egg mixture to the flour bowl and use your hands to knead the mixture into dough. Sprinkle a little water to knead. Once the dough is smooth, you are ready to continue with the pasta recipe.

Press the dough into a patty and make three pieces. To make the pasta recipe, press all three patties to make them flat. Wrap the patties in plastic and rest them for a few hours. Run the patties through the pasta machine to make a flat block of pasta. Repeat the process 2-3 times till you get a flat block of the dough. Wrap this in plastic and keep for some time.

Repeat the process for a perfect pasta recipe by feeding the dough into the machine 2-3 times. With these steps on how to make homemade pasta, your base is ready to be cut into any shape you choose!
