The Bible, New Testament, Matthew 10:32-33
Confess Christ Before Men
“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

The Bible, New Testament, 1 John 4:14
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

The Bible, New Testament, 2 Peter 2:1
False Teachers and Their Destruction
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

@RichieEastside He also showed he was the messiah and that he was God when He ripped his garment in from of the council upon His conviction. That was a claim of deity, and that is why they said that He blasphemed. He also showed He was messiah when He forgave sins, and rose from the dead. Oh, and he fulfilled all the messianic prophecies. I just wonder he tries to claim in this book. He is definitely wrong when He says Christ did not come to be the Jews messiah.

A couple of Verses from scripture: John 14:6, John 6:23, and perhaps the most obvious: John 4:25-26 (ESV): The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things." 26Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am he."
This is what you get when you replace God's Word with man's assumptions.

John Hagee is a FRAUD. TOTAL FRAUD.
I live in San Antonio and have followed him for years. I used to just think he was wrong. Then I learned he was wrong and greedy and a money grubbing manipulator with an 8000 acre ranch.
Now I know he's wrong, a prosperity pulpit pimp, AND a heretic.

@GaryJGarrison2007 The Long version he says the same thing. Jesus came to be messiah. Frankly you can make all the excuses in the world for John Hagee the fact remains he is anathema maranatha. Anyone who buys into his message is the same.

Seems to me he was saying that Jesus didn't claim to be the Messiah, not that Hagee is saying that He wasn't. Although that might not be entirely true, because when posed with the question "Are you the Son of God", Jesus very clearly replied "I Am'. So if you consider "Son of God" and "Messiah" to be the same thing, then maybe you could come to that conclusion.
I don't think Hagee is a big time false prophet or anything, but ever since I saw him with Benny Hinn I've kept my distance.

@primevalsea He said it very clear, if you wanna beat around the bush and say he meant to say this or that go ahead. Sounds to me like he said "Jesus did not claim to be the Messiah", that's his exact words, period. That's the end of the discussion. Don't waste your time Zionist, don't even bother. I'm not saying this to you to get a response, in fact, please don't respond. I'm just telling you I heard what he said, I don't need you to give your explanation, no one does.
He's not deceived he's just a lying prick Zionist.
