A Detroit mother is filing a $30 million lawsuit against a foster care home after the home allegedly starved her 10-year-old wheelchair-bound quadriplegic son to death.

There has to be a general class action for all children taken by Children's services in each state. In each STATE there are very many children denied DUE PROCESS as a result of the negligence of CPS. They abuse parents who have a child with any type of an issue in order to prevent their state from permitting effective medical care. They demand that they have as many as twenty people riding on that child's health service, when a loving mother and home would be much better. STOP VULTURE CARE.

how can you not charge a person with criminal neglect for starving a kid to death? they obviously did not upkeep his health since a doctor would have noticed the substantial weight loss. we should petition the home be charged.

HE PROBABLY ONLY NEEDED A DELEGATED CNA WHICH THE STATE OF MICHIGAN SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED. INSTEAD THE SS RAILROADED HIM TO FOSTER DEATH , THE GRIEVING MOTHER DID HER BEST TO ALERT THE STATE . I HOPE MOTHER SUES THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.

Learn the facts before you judge. She applied for services. They mean CPS convinced her they don't offer in home services ever and he would be better cared for by a state funded foster care home. She didn't not get him taken away. She did not loose her parental rights. And was placed there with the promises of better medical care she was unable to provide unemployed and single mother with no support systems.

I don't understand how a mother would willingly hand over her child to CPS. Why didn't she apply for food stamps, ADCF, etc..? I would NEVER voluntarily give my child to any foster parent or to the state. I would do anything but that. A latch-key kid is 100% better off than sending the kid to CPS.

Where's the Dept. of Justice? Where is the state AG on this matter? What is the local DA doing besides prosecuting pot smokers? If the above mentioned agencies refuse to do their jobs, it is therefor the RIGHT of the People to take appropriate action.
