I also thought Bert looked funny without his nose. When I first saw this skit when I was very young, I wondered how can someone's nose come off someone's face when someone else is pulling it off. Although I did get a little nervous because I thought in real life, a human being's nose would be able to come off easily. I don't know why Bert didn't just pull his nose off the clay sculpture and put it back on his face, (he just stood there surprised thinking "how and why did Ernie take my nose")
