This song,as well as Monster fit the political climate of today every bit as much as they did back when they were released. Very timeless, very relevant. Thanks for posting them.

@Ghtthomps I never knew that I knew he wrote Snowblind Friend and Pusher. Hoyt was such a great talent and a soul brother to Steppenwolf. My favorite Hoyt song is Seven Come he wrote and performed.

This is a really wonderful and classic song. I used to really rock to this song!!! A long, long, long, time ago. In a Galaxy Far, Far away!!! back in the late 60'S Wow. brings back memories!!!!

I've always thought these were some of the best lyrics of the 1960s. Very clearly expresses the plight of many cynics who feel disempowered by our political system.
