  • This looks amazing. Cant wait to get my hands on it.

  • @crazychristian28 Any time from this week apparently! Watch this space ;-)

  • Thank you for posting this. I was pretty skeptical reading the reviews. Now I can see first hand that this is going to be amazing.

  • @MediaWorksTV There's a lot of people that seem really skeptical about the new release... especially people referring to it as "iMovie Pro", usually with regards to the GUI. Our question is as follows: Why, for a change, can't us creatives look at something aesthetically pleasing while we work? We all much prefer this style of layout and GUI to the blockiness *cough* PC Legacy *cough* that's been inherent in nearly all NLEs for a long while now!

  • @crazychristian28 thats what she said

  • Final Cut X is really good, but the way it behaves deviates too far from FCP7 and more into iMovie. Other than multicam i dont miss the other features but I still find the program itself to react in a way that makes me feel i have less control over what i was doing.

  • I hope the learning curve isnt too large... I've been using final cut for over 6 years and I could care less about ascetics, hope all the changes were worth it!

  • @Hunkola I have friends and peers that have worked on multi million dollar feature films, so um...I doubt I will ever work with you in the industry, people need a capacity to learn to be proficient at things and you seem to have a deficiency in that department.

  • @sacredgeometry --- I'm fed up with you Apple fanboys who always act snobby and superior........Apple products are over-priced garbage and everyone knows it.......Adobe has earned the respect and admiration of the film industry and their apps have been used by motion graphics professionals for DECADES. I have friends who have made award-winning short films using only Adobe apps......so chew on that, fanboy.

  • @Hunkola It's got nothing to do with being on an apple bandwagon, it has to do with reality. You are obviously someone with very little understanding of the film industry. Go learn about it before you shout your limited knowledge. Adobe dont even call after effects a compositor because they know it would be embarrassing to compete with node based compositing packages. I love adobe products and use them in all of my projects, but pretending they are something they are not is just childish.

  • @sacredgeometry --- Adobe Premiere has been around a lot longer than FCP......its a well-respected NLE used by amateurs and pros alike.....and yes Avid is highly-respected too......AE is indeed a compositing program that has been used in many feature films......so maybe you need to jump off the Apple bandwagon and get a clue.

  • @Hunkola You have no idea what you are talking about. Premiere has never been an industry standard app, its currently between avid and FCP....compositing? Adobe dont make a compositing software...they make AE which is a motion graphics application that does an ok job at basic compositing...apple used to own the most used compositing software too until they decided to discontinue it (shake) these days you fusion or nuke tend to be fast growing industry leaders.

  • @MediaProsUK I dont think any of the complaints have been towards what has been added, i think its towards what has been taken away.

  • I've never heard such nerdy screams and shouts
