IN case anyone wonders, this is a take off of Elvis Costello's famous incident on "SNL" where he was singing another song then stopped in the middle and suddenly said "I'm sorry, but there's no reason why I should be singing this song right now" and then launched into "Radio, Radio" (which he was warned by NBC not to sing).
Good Times.

It wasn't Al who made the mistake-- at the beginning of the tour, they had a defective video server that crashed during nearly every show. So Al and the band had a few songs rehearsed that they could switch to right away when they had "technical difficulties" and Radio Radio was one of them.

Wow - what an opportunity: to see Al do a straight cover. Brilliant! Also cool to see the band so in tune with each other that, despite the surprise, Jim knows when to join in on the vocals, etc. I'd love to know more of the story, though: what was the mistake that would cause him to derail "I'll Sue Ya"? How'd they do the transition, etc. etc. I'm a glutton for details. Thanks so much for posting this.

Glad you like the vid... I posted the story in the comments section of the original unsynced version. You should be able to find it by going to my videos in my profile.
