PIO intramuscular injection for IVF. First time!

Here's me giving myself my first intramuscular PIO injection for my gestational surrogacy IVF. I was very nervous so take pity and laugh with me lol. Thanks to my friend Tamara for making a little cameo at around 7:50. Unicorns and candy canes lol.

For NO PAIN -use a numbing cream for the intra-muscular shots, like POI. It has to be prescribed "Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream, 2.5%/2/5%". Use a dollop the size of a large bean or a regular marshmallow on it. There is a sticky film that you put over it for an hour - it's called "Tegaderm 2.37" x 2.75" DRS". Draw a circle with a ballpoint pen where the injection site will be. Then put the dollop of cream directly onto the film, and put it on the circle. And tell your hubby to MAN UP!

Good job, however you really shouldn't have rubbed your hands all ober the injection site before injecting. All the sterilization you did when you cleaned it with the alcohol wipe you negated..... too late now, but fyi for anyone else watching :)
