  • @knappik311 Say that to Stevie Nicks, Ann Wilson & Deborah Harry! I think Grace had a good 10 years in her if she never retired in 1990!

  • Dont get me wrong, i love grace slick and her music, but her smug comments on touring with jim morrison and the doors kind of pissed me off and came across as a bit bitchy.I wouldnt preach grace. It was the fucking 60's for gods sake.Mojorisan71

  • LOVE

  • Grace's vocals then are one of my big favorites. The harmonies of JA were beautiful. disagree w/ her idea, though, that rockers over 50 look stupid...Stevie Nicks looks fine to me as well as Ann & Nancy Wilson.

1971 song. Carlos Santana & his then drummer Michael Shrieve are credited on this song too.

  • 'We built this city' is a song making fun of corporate run rock bars. Not a sell out. listen to the lyrics.

but I'm not too surprised. Songs of the 1960s had imagination. Unlike most songs of today.

    maybe on the inside...

  • A colorful person. Her artwork seems very good. Rockers can continue even into their 80s, as some are. JA was the only band to appear at all 3 main festivals-Monterey, Woodstock, and Altamont.

  • She's great, this brings me back to very cool time in life....

  • @SEAOFGREEN Thanks for the info ! : )

  • Grace was an incredible singer. Can't forget how she sold out with "Starship", though. I know she had TONS of company, but listen to We Built This City and try not to cry.
