DODGE THAT! - The Video Game

This was by far the most difficult video for me to edit. The 3d text was done in Blender then I imported into FCP. I tried to use 3ds max but it's only for PC. FAIL! I could have used AE or Boujou for the tracking but I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do til I was half way through the edit. The hardest part was the acting believe it or not. The music was recorded in Pro Tools of course and the sound efx I built with a combination of mostly my voice for the wooshes and a few random hits and shatters for the impacts. The debris is from video copilot action essential. I spent most of the night getting comfortable with a few 3d programs (cinema 4d, Blender, Boujou) as I want to begin doing some match moving and other cool tricks in my video. had a few issues on export, as the text are png files and they don't de-interlace well, especially at 1080i. After 27hrs straight from the the time I picked up the pen to the time I upload the video. Countless trial and errors and missing my Friday deadline....all in all I'm pretty happy with the outcome.
