I am wondering if there will be more incidents unearthed in which McCain voted in a prejudiced or racist way.

  • I don't know why people are always pointing out Obama's blackness when he himself wouldn't even emphasize on it. Because 1) Race shouldn't be as big of an issue anymore in this generation, and YES, despite the continuing institutionalized and defacto discrimination, and even though we should be open to talk about racial issues, the election's biggest issue is NOT the candidates' race. 2) Blacks and whites are not the only races in America, even though YES, they have the most significant gap.

  • The most important thing about Obama is that he is a Democrat. That is the most important reason why most Blacks will vote for him seeing as how most Blacks are Democrats. It no doubt also figures most prominently into why those of other races will vote for him as well. They are tired of Republicans like Bush and McCain messing up America by pandering to big business and the rich while screwing over the poor and the middle class.

  • im not surprised at anything concerning mccain. the man is a real politician. ;-)

  • Indeed.

  • A.C.O.R.N.

  • Well of course they need to do that, but they don't call it the white house for nothing. As a Canadien I hope McLain loses.

  • Insane McCain will fall!!!!

  • I definately agree with you on this one as well. The man has a very white American mother and grandparents who helped raised him.

The problem is some "nugget-heads" don't see that point, but want to hate on OBAMA and be a OBAMA-hater like he's not black enough or too black.

Yea, McCain has not really been attacked yet, but I think Obama is trying to keep the RACE issue out of this election. Only when someone brings it up is when he seem to elaborate on that issue.

  • Yes,from what I understand he has raised or has access to a whole lot more campaign money than McCain. So,the advantage is definitely his in many different ways. On another note,I think it is most appropriate that the most likely first "Black' president is actually both Black and White. Maybe if he gets to be president his multi-racial experiences will help him bridge the divide between Whites and Blacks in America in a way no White president has even been able. I certainly hope so.

  • I agree, he may be too liberal for alot of people, including myself - but it might be what the country needs right now.

He seems quite refreshing when you consider the past eight years of the Bush presidency and making McCain appear as BUSH #2.

Obama has a good chance also because of all the money that's been thrown at him from wealthy white folk. I mean six-figure salary white folk and multi-millionaires.

Obama would be able to whether the storm of his aquaintances because of the past

  • I feel you. This is going to be good.
