Coon Hunting. 2 Dogs and a pup. Stormy night. Trying to tree a freshly seen coon crossed the road.

Trying to tree a fresh coon that crossed the road and my dogs struck of the ATV. A fresh seen coon is hard to tree unless you wait 10 minutes or so but thought I would give it a chance. ;=} They treed finally. The pup Turbo is staying at tree and chewing on the coon but he still needs to learn to track and tree. Turbo will tear up a roller cage coon and eat a coon but needs work.

the coon season in ohio is from november to january . its to short for raccoons . there more of a pest than anything

Well that sucks looks almost like our deer season lol... But our coon season is basically all year... If you cant kill them you can still tree them...

I have seen really good hounds look ignorant on a fresh coon, the scent is so strong that they can't work it out. But it is fun to let a young dog out on'em. Great video thanks for sharing. 5/5
