What do you think of Devil's Rejects? it brings back the gritty feel of this movie and other 70's films, what about Martyrs, Inside, Ichi The Killer, A Serbian Film (i'm not touching this one after what i heard), Frontier(S), Audition etc.?

Sick horror films in the 70's and 80's were fantastic, they were brutal and barbaric back then - unlike the utter shit we get now, like 'final destination' where teenage prats are spooked by ghosts.
