I love rewatching this scene for exactly these reasons. The humor, the love, the angst! I love how wonderfully worried John was and Marlena's reaction to how scared he was. Not to mention how sweet he is in bringing Belle to her, taking care of her. This is just a wonderfully balanced scene! Just love it!
Oh, and can't forget Mike's even there. I miss Mike. He was such a great character.

I love these scenes also so much... John is so wonderful (not mantioning his oh sooo cuuute hair after waking up :P...) ... seeing all the love in his eyes.. and seeing Marlena happy again.. it is like to find oasis in the desert .. after all this horrible things that happened.

Isn't Marlena supposed to be left-handed? Here she is having breakfast with John and she's eating with her right hand. I don't get it.

He's so cute. First he brings her daughter to her with this huge grin on his face, then he comes out from sleeping and then he worries about her.<3
And to think they aren't even together here. I don't think I'd be volunteering to eat any of Mar's cooking though. LOL.
