SYNOPSIS: Jonathan "Joe" Hardy is a regular guy. He lives in Astro City, affectionately titled "Disaster City" by their peers. He works a regular job as a news reporter, and even lives in an unassuming house in a high middle class gated community. However, in reality, he is a super hero named Captain Spectacular! He's the big hero of Astro City, saving it constantly from the threats of danger. And none of it is really considered to be that complicated.

Except for one small detail. He's inept. In reality, he is a bumbling, arrogant primadonna, who is just as over the top about superheroing as he is vain enough to think that he can get free ice cream and coffee at his favorite shop.

Anything good he's ever done was done by accident, and every time he tries to be a hero, he ends up only making the situation worse, whether through his behavior, or through his unwitting, active disregard of the law, and because of this, any of his deeds are met with apathy, rather than the fanfare, cheers, and accolades one should receive.

However, things change when a new, EVIL villain by the (admittedly non-threatening) name of Dr. Tibbles comes to town, after hearing about The Captain's famous and infamous exploits.

This new, spectacular radioplay series will follow the Captain, and his faithful sidekick Spectacle Boy's numerous adventures in fighting crime, as they try to fight against the evil Dr. Tibbles, and his evil organization of doomy doom. Will they succeed? Will the Captain change his ways, and rise up to become the hero he is supposed to be?

Author's Note:
Alright, so, this is the first episode of a new radioplay project i've created with a good friend of mine, Jesse/Border Hopper Jay. It's about a superhero and his sidekick, and the complete and total idiocy that drives their adventures. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

I put a TON of work into this one, and i sincerely hope you guys enjoyed it as much as i did enjoy working on it.
