@republicae - read your history. Lawrence of Arabia bought the arab rebels off and got them to defeat the turks. That is the history of warfare. Our problem is not the ones who can be bought as they will always act in self interest. Our problem is the religious fanatics who would rather die - preferably taling others with them.

@schmales26 ...search left/right paradigm.. the thought is that we're led to believe we have a choice between the 2 parties...the thought is we're choosing our presidents, when in fact, the powers that be have already chosen the winner...thru media, we're manipulated in choosing who they want...thats why many of us see what is going on with Ron Paul and see the blatant media bias when it comes to him.. I used to laugh at the notion, but now, seeing what they've done to RP opened my eyes

@redlegagent You have been just as duped, the fact of the matter is that the insurgency was simply bribed off for a while with untold Billions of Dollars, that is hardly the destruction of the insurgency. The truth is that temporary shifts in allegiances were formed through such bribery, but the underlying divisions remain and, just as Dr. Paul said, they are resurfacing now that our troops have been withdrawn. The entire social and political structure that we attempted to impose was worthless!

Ron Paul and the founding fathers' foreign policy = Peace & prosperity, trade, be friends with all, alliance with none! Stop the undeclared wars, stop using UN resolutions to start wars, stop invading countries with Nato under "humanitarian" purposes! STOP KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE AND BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!!!!!!
