Homeroom. What's the point? Honestly. I turned to look at the people next to me. "Hey." I said with a friendly smile plastered upon my face. They looked at me like they had just seen someone get struck by lightening. After a while of waiting for them to answer, I gave up and turned towards my teacher.
Ugh!
I officially hate homeroom.
What's even worse is that Demi and I got seperated. Just because of the minor reason that our last names don't begin with close to the same letter. I hate alphabetic order also.
Although, I have Nick in here. He's kinda sorta my friend. He's going to sit at the table today. So that makes us "aquaintances" doesn't it?
I sure hope so.
This Nick character has quite grown on me.
Trust me, I have no idea why. It was really weird actually. I can't stand it when I don't know the reason for things. Okay, I'm getting off topic here. Anyways. It feels like I've known him. I don't know. Ugh! Bell ring, bell ring! Just then, Nick walked in and sat next to me. "Hey, your ex is really annoying." He smiled at me as he sat down.
"Yeah, I know. Hence the word 'ex'." He laughed a little before smiling again. His smile was to die for. He had perfect white teeth, and he was just amazing. He made me just want to jump in his arms and call him my boyfriend. But. I couldn't. As much as I wanted to. I just met the guy, like a week ago. It wasn't right.
I turned back after staring after his smile, avoiding the chance of getting caught. The teacher was sitting at his desk reading some anonymous book, I should know, I read. "Mr. Davis?" He looked up at the sound of his name, "Yes, Miss Hudgens?" I twisted my hair with my finger, "Can I go to the restroom." He waved his hand towards the door and went back to reading. I snorted, hmph. Some teacher.
On my way to the bathroom I started singing Crush Crush Crush by Paramore. My ultimate favorite band of all time. "....I guess I'm dreaming again. Let's be more than this...." I sighed. Great. This totally describes me right now.
"You listen to Paramore!?!" Someone squealed as I passed the water fountains still singing the song.
I turned around at the sudden outburst. It was someone in my first class. "Uh, yeah?" I said surprised by the reaction. She looked at me as if I just said I eat grass. Which one time I did, well not really grass, the dirt beneath the grass. Stupid Joe. Oh, Joe was my old best friend Nick's older brother. He told Nick, Demi and I that dirt was really chocolate sprinkles and we ate it. I laughed aloud and the girl looked at me weird. "Oh sorry. You listen to them too?" I asked her.
"Duh! Hayley Williams is like my idol!" She answered my "idiotic" question. "No way! Mine too. I absolutely love her hair." She looked at me with wide eyes as her mouth became an O shape. Ugh. "Yeah, well I gotta go pee. See ya!" I walked off as fast as I can. I absolutely suck at talking to people when they're shocked.

I got back to class after a couple of minutes. I couldn't get Crush Crush Crush out of my head, so I just kept it there until it slowly faded away. Nick looked at me. "So what's up?" he asked as he got out his spiral and started writing in it. "Nothing much. You?" I asked as I did the same, just writing down song lyrics in mine. "Just trying to keep the football team in line. They go a little crazy from time to time." I laughed. "Yeah, that's the way it's always is. Same with the cheerleaders. It's like they never stop being peppy. I always catch them screaming in the halls or doing more back-handsprings."
He smiled that same heart-melting smile again, "Yeah, it's tough." He was so calm. Usually guys are all nervous. "Y'know what? My best friend of 4 years ago had the same name as you. How weird is that?"
