Location:
The apartments occupy an idyllic location directly beside the sea and near magnificent beaches, and integrated within the Prainha Tourist Village. The sandy beach is about 300 m away and can be reached via a lift. Guests will reach Alvor centre in about 20 minutes on foot. Faro airport is approximately 65 km away, Portimão is 4 km from the hotel, and it is 2.5 km to Alvor.
Facilities:
The family friendly hotel offers a wide range of amenities for holidays. It comprises a total of 61 tourist apartments, and facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a currency exchange facility, two lifts, a snack bar, and a small supermarket (April - October). The complex also features four renowned restaurants, including the "Caniço" (April - October) directly beside the sea, built into the rocks and accessible via lift, and the first-class "Búzio" (April-October) restaurant, which offers breathtaking views over Lagos Bay. Also on offer is a TV lounge, an Internet connection (charges apply), a laundry service (charges apply), bike hire and parking for those arriving by car.
Rooms:
The hotel offers three types of apartment. The studios (maximum capacity two persons) come with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The T1 apartments (maximum capacity three persons) offer a bedroom, a lounge, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The T2 apartments (maximum capacity five persons) come with two bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen or kitchenette, and a bathroom. All kitchens and kitchenettes feature a fridge, 2 electric rings, a microwave oven, and crockery. Further facilities provided in all accommodation as standard include individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, and pool views. All face south and have either a terrace or balcony. Furthermore, each apartment is fitted with cable TV, a radio, a shower, and a double bed.
Sports/Entertainment:
The complex features two saltwater swimming pools, one by the main building (with a separate children's area) and the other in a wonderful spot on the cliff top. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out ready for guests. The hotel also has a Jacuzzi, three tennis courts, a basketball court, and a health centre (Thalgo-Prainha), where massage services and a range of body and facial treatments are offered, in addition to a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, a Scottish shower, hydro massage, an indoor pool, and a gym (charges apply in all cases except the pool and the Jacuzzi). Guests may also try aerobics, and the nearest golf course is located a 5-minute drive away.
Meals:
The hotel offers guests a breakfast buffet in addition to restaurants serving cuisine ranging from Italian, Mediterranean, and international to regional cooking. Lunch and dinner can be chosen from an à la carte menu. The Algarve is a paradise for lovers of fish and seafood.

American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA cards are all accepted in the hotel.
Misc.:
Check-in: from 4.00 pm. Check-out: by 10.00 am. Restaurant Caniço, restaurant Búzio, the Italian restaurant Miss Pasta, the poolside snack-bar, the supermarket, and lift to the beach are all closed during low season. A coffee machine and hairdryers are not available in the apartments. The safe and tennis courts are paid for directly at reception. Pets are not permitted.
How to get there:
Guests may fly in to Faro airport or make use of the Portuguese train network, which offers a range of possiblities including express and regional trains. Those arriving by bus or car should follow the A22 motorway (Via do Infante de Sagres) in the direction of Portimão.
