I hate the term African American, bitch if you weren't born in Africa or have never been to Africa, BITCH YOURE NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN. I dont see any white people sayin "oh i'm german-american, or i'm Swedeish-american".
@shortyduwhop319 My comments are not about the twins in particular but about mixed people in general. Let me ask you this, what do you call a chinese mixed with indian, or a Korean mixed with Arab or Japanese with German. What do you call these people? And who gives you the right to say what they should be called, if a man is influenced by the different cultures of his parents and he embraces both cultures and does not want to chose one over the other then no one has the right to say he should.
For most of US history, race has been for synonymous w/ culture & ethnicity for AfroAmericans. Not all people of African descent carry the same history. When a black ass Jamaican or Dominican says they're not black, they're likely expressing that they're not black in the traditional American sense. They take black as meaning AfroAmerican which is a specific ethnic group to which they do not necessarily belong. You're as practically as foreign to them as a white American.
@jross7224 they ARE black.their parents and grandparents are black. if u follow their channel u would know that. We just look at the fact that they are fair skinned and have colored eyes and make them biracial. Facts are we are all human.some are black, some are white, and native american. How is it a "need for separation" when we are what we are. Nobody chose to be black or white. There is nothing wrong w/ pride in your culture, as long as it doesn't turn into a superiority complex.
To say that someone who is mixed with black and white or asian and black or indian and black or native and black or anything and black make that person black is ridiculous. This definition of the black race was made up by white people to keep their race pure. To deny the other races someone has in them is to deny part of them. This is a very ignorant and backward thinking which only promotes seperation and prevents us from growing, socially, mentally and spiritually. Peace to all
