Talking of Bungling Brian, the FA Chief Executive is now said to be planning a meeting with the England skipper John Terry to convey his vision for the England team. And after tabloids reports about the drunken antics of some of the squad recently, presumably that 'vision' won't now include urinating on nightclub floors...

And it's not just England that are looking for a new manager. After missing out on qualification for Euro 2008, Scotland are also on the hunt for a new coach after Alex McLeish chose to stand down and take up the vacancy at Birmingham City. But if the SFA are struggling to find someone then we think we have just the man for you. Not only is he a man with recent international experience, but he's currently unemployed and he's got a Scottish sounding surname too...

Finally, there's a terrible brou-ha-ha at Reading, where it seems the club's press office didn't take too kindly to our interview with Marcus Hahnemann. According to our sources, the club has now stopped the outspoken keeper from doing any more interviews to publicise his book just in case he says anything that may reflect badly on the club. That's Reading in Berkshire by the way, not Reading in North Korea. Or at least we think so...
