  • Really great job thank you. How can i get a stove like this?

  • Since you are working with beans, can you use the "Bean Gas " to produce more energy .

  • Now I'm hungry. Cool stove though, thanks for showing Us.

  • Nice design, very similar to what I'm doing with 10" can and an old stubby thermos inner/outer (as a TLUD with secondary air-flow). The flue is definitely key for maintaining good updraft and has to be fairly tall, have to experiment some more but think updraft can be maintained with it a little shorter, guess depends on ambient temp.

I've been looking at adding a constrictor type ring like you've got halfway up there, think seeing this has convinced me it's a must.

  • That truly is amazing, Congrats. Its too bad that 2 people don’t like beans :/

  • neat, but 50 servings, not around here

  • Is there any design schematics online for this stove?

  • Hey Lanny,

With beans, if you get all that foam it is because the water temperature is too hot! You could add a little bit of oil to the mix, and it would help break up all the foam.

  • @hitmanface 3 rd world heck we have a 3rd world in our midst currently. There is a you tuber Mark Horvath his channel "Invisiblepeopletv" Interviews todays homeless people and they are not who you would expect many never did drugs in their life and are top notch graduates from quality universities. Yes the so called best of the best are on the streets in the so called wealthiest nation on the planet. Your design can make life so much better for those that are outdoors with very litte.

  • 10:1 ratio is fantastic. I really like this one.
