This is a short demo piece I did for my portfolio. Utilizing a lot of the 3D camera motion in AE and designed the buildings in Illustrator.

  • well, After Effects is designed for motion graphics n animation, so yes, it's got incredible tools for that. In essence, it almost works like an animated photoshop document because you have any number of layers individually editable and you can apply any number of effects and animation properties to each. Highly recommended, and should work on macs. I use the CS3 version.

  • hiya, am can you give me a clue as to how After Effects might enhance the animation [Video response I've posted you] which is [stop-fame] using a shedload of 2D illustrations done in Photoshop on an OS9 MacG4, (I don't use Windows). If Adobe After Effects operates only with Mac OSX or Windows, would I be right to assume I'm stuck doing my work the old fashioned way... frame by frame millimetre by millimetre

  • Nice, I'm trying to learn after effects right now.

  • excellent work
