Tea Party Express draws 10,000 in New Lenox, IL

Barack Obama's home state drew over 10,000 anti-tax and spend folks Labor Day 2009 to outrank all other Tea Party Express rallies thus far on their 33- city tour. Debbie and Tim Kraulidis organized the event at the New Lenox Municipal Center, backing up traffic for 2 miles in both directions on I-80 and Maple Road. The organizers were expecting 800. I go to as many rallies and protests that I hear about. I have been to 5 this year and I was shocked at the size of the crowd. How heartening! I sure wish I could get to DC, but since I can't, I'll be downtown - meeting at the bean and marching down Michigan Ave. WE CAN'T let the enthusiasm die!

I'd like to remind everyone that the Tea Party movement failed. Republicans only took a small majority in the house, smaller than what the democrats took in the last election. They didn't take the senate. I really hope Palin wins the republican nominee because there is no way she can beat Obama. Obama will win in 2012, and all you will cry. :(
