  • Great points. Thank you.

  • no white people are tellin people to be bloods and crips... thats just peoples choice bro's

  • This is scary to hear Harry Davis in this video because I have been doing research on the same issues and have come to the same conclusion. Police layoffs, no jobs, private prisons that have industries, accompanied by laws that contribute to this is new age slavery. People don't want to believe this but it is very true. GM and other auto makers have stock in these companies. That is where the automakers jobs went to-THE PRISONS. It's called capitalism, but it's more like cannibalism!!

  • But men are still selling crack..and being dumb enough to fall into the trap...pant's hanging low won't go get a job , won't support their children, screwing without condoms...creating babies they can't support... if you don't educate yourself , you will find yourself in a trick bag! jail

  • @cnbpoet1 - As Tony, the main character (Wood Harris) was navigating his way toward a solution in the film, I was trying to show what was on the minds of the people he had to get past to reach his goal. The scenes are in the movie to make you angry - hopefully not at me, the writer, but at the characters in the film and, in a larger sense, those you see in real life who mirror the characters in the film. I hope this helps you understand my motivations.

  • I do plan to see this movie and have listened to Mr. Davis talk about his motives for making it. The only question I have is why in this case as in the case of many other stories that are designed to promote a positive change and be thought provoking, are there scenes in which women are degraded in a hyper sexualized way? As a story teller there has to be a way to communicate the point with the same impact without dehumanizing the woman. "Just Sayin"

  • That makes plenty sense
