We are proud to show the first flight of our first customer aircraft. There is still more testing and flying to be done. This flight is a great accomplishment of many team individuals here at Viper and also at Composites Universal.

  • Are they still working on a pressurized cockpit?

  • The Mark II only comes as a pressurized version. And on March 21, the first pressureization test was completed successfully at 14000 feet in our customer aircraft.

  • @ViperJetMrkII Shouldnt it be done at 16000+ feet? Oxygen cutoff altitude?

  • @Dominoes282 The cabin is automatically regulated to 8000 ft in the cabin, 14000 was plenty enough to test the initial pressurization abilities. Our goal for that first flight was to verify the cabin altitude not to exceed 8000 ft and it did that quite well. Just in case you had wondered we have taken it to 2300 ft and still performed as designed and held 8000 ft cabin.

  • This would be a twin engine like the Javelin was meant to be it would be bought right away by my boss for organs transplants flights !!! Such a pity it's only single engine, therefore not allowed for public transport...

  • Your plane looks cool, you think about doing a supercar that most of us can afford, that would be awesome..

  • TIME OR TOP GUN THEME SONG FOR NEXT VIDEO

  • Shut up and take my money!

  • Does it come with an ejector seat?

  • was this what started as the BD-10 with dual tail and has since become the viperJet MKII

  • After a while, piloting jet is actually quite boring.

  • I would love one of these as a weekend toy if I was ever rich enough. What ratings do you need to fly one of these? I assume a PPL with an experimental type rating?

  • @Geardo308 Good luck with operating costs
