  • The fluidity in a kata is important. This can be applied in certain hard styles like karate and in soft styles such as taiji. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • Fluid is good, not stiff and robotic like I see most katas done in tournaments. However, just about any version of any style can be done with fluidity. Fluidity is given and showcased by the individual.

  • The Kushin Ryu version of Suparinpei is more fluid than the Goju and the Shito Ryu versions.
