NEW HORSE! The racehorse!

Meet Billy...the newest addition to the herd! Lol!

He is very well bred as a racehorse (by Celtic Swing) and has changed hands alot in his life so far! He was born in the UK, then as a foal was sold to Ireland where he went to the Newmarket equivelent in Ireland (racing area). Then as a 3y/o he was sold back to the UK and went up to Leicestershire where he was trained and raced 3 times on the flat, but finished almost last each time. And he is now coming down South to Berkshire! He still has a lot to learn but has lovely paces, good jump and a very good attitude so I think he has alot of potential. Never the less we will find out! But we had to buy a very raw project horse due to lack of funds!!

I'm up at Hartpury at the mo competing in the BUCS University National riding champs, so he's arriving on Friday! Can't wait!!!

REVEL UPDATE: He is much better now, but still off work =( he is now totally sound in a straight line trotting but still 1/10 off on a circle. Very annoying - its been like almost 6 weeks now! But vet reckons another 2 wks and he'll be a ok!

@EddiesGun91 - thanks =) yeah Revel basically has inflammed ligaments in his leg. It was from when we went on holiday at the end of April and paid these people really good money to look after them and they basically just left them out and they're used to coming in alot of the time so all went mental round the fields and yeah so its well annoying how he did it as so avoidable but never mind. Anyways he can canter on Monday - so excited! And then jump another couple of weeks after that =) xxxxxxx

yayyy im so happy youve found something :) :) make sure you post lots of videos for us! :D hes a very scopey chap! Im sure a few months down the line he will be lovely once hes worked out what eventings aboutt :p lovely chap though, reminds me of a project i had a while ago who was lovely, although she didnt have good legs so wouldnt event, but very simular otherwise!! :) good luck with him, and where did you find him??? xxxxxxxx

@BigBoyRocky - thanks =) he arrived today and has been as good as gold! Had long session with the vet sorting his teeth out, as he described the state of them as 'horrendous with a capital H' and so fingers crossed he will be much more comfortable now and go even better! Yes I will def put lots of videos up of him! Am hoping to really crack on with him and actually do some competing this summer! He was advertised on the pony club website and he was up in Milton Keynes xxxxx

@BritishEventer - thanks =) but u dont need another horsey when u hav one as good as caesar! Tbh we wouldnt be getting another one if milo was ok. And its not ideal to have 2 x 5y/o's!!! Lol! But am very excited about him coming tomorrow =) xxxx

@crazyxmare - hey =) yeah hartpury faclilities can be summed up in one word - AMAZING!!!!! The stable yards are so beautiful and they have loads of arenas with amazing surfaces and the whole place is just - WOW! Really enjoyed it! Unfortunately didnt take video so there wont be a vid coming of it xxxxxxxxxx
