Finally Eggman is revealed to be playable!! This'll be his second game where he's playable during the actual story! Not just multiyplayer mode, where you only RACE with him or something. THANK U BioWare!

eggman is the 2000 and so on bad guy and the one before that was 3 robotnik's(the one from the cartoon show was TEH REAL ROBOTNIK :3)

Actually, the current canon is that his name is Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik, with 'Eggman' being the nickname.
No matter where you are now, both 'Eggman' and 'Robotnik' are equally correct.

While it might be old. Dr. Eggman wasn't the Final Character, Shade was. Plus, he leaves afterwards so it's not a Full Playable. Just a Minor Playable.
