Not a very wise video...in fact, most of these aren't. When The SHTF and the government decides citizen gun ownership is against the welfare of the nation...well it is one of the possible scenarios. Something to consider. I'm not judging anyone.

great stock pile. If I may make one suggestion though? The ammo containers are nice but they don't allow you to rotate stock very well. Just make sure you keep rotating stock so you always have fresh ammo in your house

I still dont understand why anyone would get so much ammo..It's a total waste. SHTF Ammo? With that much crap you'll just be an easy target for the "E" and any marauders that want to siege you. No matter how good of a shot you are there is always someone better. You should think a little harder if indeed you are worried about a SHTF.

@guitarguy1789 if you throw some silica gel packs into the box with the ammo it will suck out the moisture (the little packs that comes in shoe boxes and leather goods packaging)

or a small tub of damp-rid next to your ammo stash and make sure its not in a high moisture location, we use damp-rid in our armory vault to make sure everything is not effected so much by humidity

I have a question. I want to store my 12 gauge ammo like northwestprepper did. I was told not to do that because my shells might be more susceptible to any amount of moisture that might get in the can. The person said keeping them inside the original box and in the can would help protect them from any moisture that got inside the ammo can. But I want to be able to use all the space in my can as possible so not to waste any space. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
