Is it cool to have parrots? I think many bye the only because they want them to talk. When they find out that its not so easy and they find out how much time they need with you, They sell them. What kind of parrots do you have?

I really enjoy them, although they can definitely be trying at times given how loud they can be (and they can throw very noisy tantrums). Mine are Eclectus parrots. The red one if female and the green one is male. I've had Misha for 7 going on 8 years now and he's great (although he tends to masturbate a lot). Sonja is just about 3 years old now and we refer to her as our "happy accident" because she can be mean, bite, and tends to throw little tantrums from time to time.
