no offense but whats the point of upgRading such a low end gun when with that amount of money you could of bought a sweet gun like an etek 3 oR a slightly oldeR ego?

@nrorex I get asked this all the time. This Ion was built up over time, not all at once. This Ion took me over two years to build and I would not want to rent a gun for two years just to get an expensive one later. I only put a few dollars into it at a time and the expensive upgrades came at the end. I love this gun and would not trade it for the world. I can keep up the more expensive markers on the field and thats all I need. I will use this marker till I no longer play paintball.

To be honest I haven't played in a long time.  I live in Albuquerque now. There's a nice field called Armageddon Paintball here but I haven't played there yet. I hope to go soon.

They may be ugly, and heavy but if you've ever had one and upgraded it you understand. Mine looks and shoots just like this and it's awesome

okay guys shut up with the (oh why you use the money on this gun instead of buying an ego) The ion is a very nice popular accuarate gun with LOTS of mods. I played speedballs with these guys that had bob longs, angles, ego 10, SLS, and autocockers and i was able to keep up with them.

@rob78aco Agreed, i put maybe 250 in ups over time, and i wouldnt trade mine for anything, its like the gun that wont treat you bad and that you know how to use inside and out. Love it. yours if faster than all hell though haha

@rob78aco that how i feel 2... i love my ion and i would rather spend money not all at once and build my gun up... the ion is fast with virtue... it doesnt matter b.c. psp only lets u shoot 13bps so my ion works fine
