Again here I can see your point. It's not always beneficial to be part of society. But this is where solidarity comes in, or at least should come in. Picking out just the advantageous aspects of society like it's technologies but at the same time not wanting to be part of it is in my eyes pure egoism.

I always think seeing is better than not seeing. ...and knowing is better than not knowing. Hmmm... that does put my in a tiny minority. Most people are always hidin things.

The better question is, How can we all get off the grid? OR why are we still on the grid?
I want off. I feel stuck.
Great Vids. I need to learn more about this Giant Robot Project
the Island stuff, etc.

Oh awesome,I thought I had seen all your videos but maybe not. I'll take a look.
I've always wondered, you have the solar panels (from other videos) but why not utilise other power sources like the stream?
Show here in England a while back called "It's Not Easy Being Green" had a load of stuff about free electricity and other cheap to free projects. Might be worth a look.

I agree man, being independent or at the very least self suficient is such a comforting thing. People die during power outages or go to shelters with a bunch of other sick people and then get sick themselves when theres energy ALL around them thats just not being used. What do you use to get online, a satelite connection? 3G? I was curious. I love your style of living by the way. Screw everybody else and just enjoy yourself and creativity. :)

Well, lately, I've been using verizon broadband to get online. Before I was going into town and taking my laptop
