Ian..just curious which you prefer - alto or tenor? I'm considering trading my Yamaha YAS-82Z in for a tenor and would like your input on whether or not I should consider something other than a Yamaha for tenor. Thanks!

@agigcbo I started on alto and played it for about 20 years. But I loved the sound of the tenor and got a 1914 Conn Pan American tenor (very good!), and kept the alto. I've still got the alto and play it from time to time, but I soon found the tenor suited me better. I advise you to keep the alto and try the tenor too if you can. I love my old French Selmer SBA tenor, but there are many other good makes. Yamaha is good. But try before you buy if you can. Get one home for a weekend. ...Good luck.
