thanks for the help. i was wondering if there's any way you can move the lines, or alter their shape once you drew them using the table on the computer. is it like illustrator where you can control shape of the lines with points?
also do you know if the wacom table would work with illustrator? thanks

you cannot move the lines using sketchbook pro ($100US). But... if you want to spend $500US I am beta testing the new Autodesk Sketch program and it combines sketchbook pro and illustrator together and allows you to move the lines around! its really cool. Autodesk.com

depends what you are trying to accomplish. If you just want to sketch and have fun, its fine that you dont have to be good. If you want to make money from it, then you probably have to be good. 8)
