drew didn't mix the shells well so im guessing she knew the ball was under #2! the ball is always under number 1 in the beginning!! this is the best playing in a min!!! im just glad shell game is back!!

Actually on the playing of Shell Game before this one, on January 8, the bonus came up, but there was an apparent edit; I guess Drew forgot about the bonus (it never came up in Season 36) and the producers had to remind him of it.
In this one, Drew remembered the bonus, but since the show's under so many time constraints, he couldn't go down the line like Bob would have.

This is a sign of some disturbing habits to me. The contestants are going to have to refuse these weird prizes such as memorabilia and trips to games of the wrong teams. Yes, Drew says "they make them in all teams", but it's either take it or not take it. You can't exchange it.
Meanwhile, because people "seem" to be winning prizes, it would appear to the casual viewer as if Syd is being nicer and the show is no longer in budget mode, when in reality it's still the same old, same old.

Haven't seen a $500 bonus win in a while. Bob would usually check the other shells besides the one picked when there was a chance at the bonus. I give Drew credit for remembering the cash bonus. Of course Kathy G. probably had to remind him before the game was played. It might be the first time a contestant had a chance at the bonus in Drew's era, no?
