Seymour Duncan Alnico II (2) Pro Slash Humbucker Pickups

I have had my Les paul for about 2 years and it has served its purpose well, but it was time for and upgrade so i decided to get the Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash Pickups. So far I like them a lot. They have a great bright tone and they sound pretty close to Slash's tone. I think these pickups are the ones that are put in the new Gibson Les Paul Appetite For Destruction...... Im not 100% on that though. I am playing Nightrain. Anyway if you're wondering I am using an Epiphone Les paul straight to a Marshall JMP MK2. It has been modded with 6550 power tubes and the speakers have been replaced by vintage 30's... im curious are you able to split the so they become single coil pickups

hi there, does it matter which way round the pickups go in color wise? when i had them installed they had it so it was black, white,white.black, so i decide to change it round so it was black white black white like slash's and yours. will that be ok to do?

@SHUPADUM I don't know if it matters. I just put them in the way the instructions told me to.

@drfeelgoodTO Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been on here in a while. Yeah its just soldering and screwing them into place. If you are semi familiar with electronics an wiring this will not be hard.

@fenderboy08 Yes it does, you can't put the pickup in backwards, but you can put a neck pickup in a bridge rout and vice versa. It'll give you some interesting tones
