I have had my Les paul for about 2 years and it has served its purpose well, but it was time for and upgrade so i decided to get the Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash Pickups. So far I like them a lot. They have a great bright tone and they sound pretty close to Slash's tone. I think these pickups are the ones that are put in the new Gibson Les Paul Appetite For Destruction...... Im not 100% on that though. I am playing Nightrain. Anyway if you're wondering I am using an Epiphone Les paul straight to a Marshall JMP MK2. It has been modded with 6550 power tubes and the speakers have been replaced by vintage 30's... That amp screams like no other. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.... Comment or PM me. Thanks for watching!

  • im curious are you able to split the so they become single coil pickups

  • @knifelover150 Yeah you can although I did not do that on mine.

  • hi there, does it matter which way round the pickups go in color wise? when i had them installed they had it so it was black, white, white.black, so i decide to change it round so it was black white black white like slash's and yours. will that be ok to do?

  • @SHUPADUM I don't know if it matters. I just put them in the way the instructions told me to.

  • @fenderboy08 Hey, just curious what it's like installing them in place? Is it just a matter of soldering the wires together ect..? Sounds great, can't wait til I get mine in the mail!

  • @drfeelgoodTO Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been on here in a while. Yeah its just soldering and screwing them into place. If you are semi familiar with electronics an wiring this will not be hard.

  • @homersimps1 The same reason Everyone with Burns Tri-sonics plays Queen songs... I love Queen and Brian May but it would be great to hear them in another context

  • ROLLIN LIKE A NIGHT TRAIN!!!

  • is it worth to buy??

  • @fenderboy08 Yes it does, you can't put the pickup in backwards, but you can put a neck pickup in a bridge rout and vice versa. It'll give you some interesting tones

  • @fenderboy08 Please play it!!

  • Ohhhhhhhhhh,,,Rock it!!! I love les Paul and Guns n Roses ;-)
