Water4Water

The Water4Water Project is an effort that was lunched in January 2012 by the Hardin-Simmons University campus organization; HSUGreen. The idea is to provide students, faculty, staff, and any passers by with cold, clean, FREE water. But what actually makes this a project and different from, oh lets say a... water fountain is that the "Hydration Station" requiers the user to use a reusable water bottle, which can be purchased for $2 in the HSUGreen office (Moody 212), and ditch the one use "disposable bottle, PLUS 100% of that $2 is donated to "Charity Water". But we dont stop there. Every time anyone with "Cowboy Cash" uses the station they have the opportunity to donate .25¢ to our sponsorship account with "Charity Water" to help provide over 250 people with clean water in a place where there is none. And if you dont have "Cowboy Cash" then YOU can donate here: http://mycharitywater.org/water4 To put it in some perspective, if each student here at HSU donates $2 (8 card swipes or the purchase of 1 bottle) over the course of a school year we can build a water well for people that desperately need it. Basically, this is the coolest way to get and give water we could come up with and we hope that you'll get envolved.
